Well the great British weather did it again, another cloudy and rainy month has meant fewer chances to get out there observing and capturing photons.

Comets Asteroids etc

Only one image this month, would you believe an attempt at capturing Comet 12p with a scope from yours truly.

So there it is, another cloudy month spoiling our fun but kudos again to everyone who got out there at an eyepiece or with a camera, weather like this requires dedication in this hobby/science. Again the quality of images posted is excellent and again it wasnt an easy job to choose a favourite.

I dont think I could get away with chickening out and awarding everyone again 😀 so choose I must, hmm.......🤔

Got to be Ibbos Leo Triplet I reckon, superb detail and colour.

Followed closely by Derbyshire Daves Leo Triplet

Well done folks

Well thats it for me as POTM judge, I am retiring from quite a few things this year to concentrate on my health and trying to enjoy my old age 👴 from this month on. At the tender age of 69 (next week) its time I retired properly I reckon, so antique dealing is ending the end of this month plus a few other things.

Ive enjoyed my time doing this and its been fascinating watching the quality of images improve over the years. I shall still be around on the forum but not in the guise of POTM judge.

Cheers and keep the images coming. I shall try my best and add a pic every so often
