One 3" dew band returned to MA for a 4" : the ED80 needs the 4" band. The ST80 is fine with the 3"

Steeltrack returned, Moonlite with hi res stepper motor ordered in its place :D

Fully remote system is all in place now! I can slob in the living room, target, focus, image ...... who said this lark has to be done whilst freezing ones proverbials off ;)

Thanks to Martyns generosity, big ass Baz battery!

So to go with it:

Cheap ass battery box (as I won't mind drilling holes in it)

Borrowed bits from work to make a cigar socket fly lead

CTEK MXS 3.6 3.8A 12V Multi-Functional 4-Stage Car Battery Charger

Ctek CTE-56380 Ctek Comfort Indicator Panel Adaptor (because it will look cool!)

Geoptik padded bags:

Short refractor version

Skywatcher mount version

Counterweight version

Tripod can kick around in the boot, I don't care too much about that :D

Nice and orange too :D

Withdrawal symptoms kicking in already .... must buy kit ....

Vixen Lanthanum LVW 13mm and 5 mm eyepieces plus a matching Vixen Deluxe 2x barlow. Was thinking of Pentax but went for Vixens in the end because I like em and my fav ep over the past 8 years has been a Vixen. The LVW has a nice comfy 20mm eye relief

Looking forward to trying these on Saturn when this drought ends and it stops raining :)

Very nice Martin :) I have the 8 inch version. I took mine apart and flocked the entire OTA and added an orion RACI finder scope and lacerta 1:10 dual focuser. Nice scopes skywatchers. You get some great views with that.
