Crikey you have been busy this month, loads of images, all down to the great start with some lovely clear nights early in the month.

Due to the volume of submissions I shall again limit the roundup to those images that have caught my eye as having that certain Je Ne Sais Quoi so to speak

Comets, Asteroids, Meteors & Meteorites

Only one submission this month submitted by fwm891 with an interesting shot of the comet 154P Brewington here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/6153-154pbrewington-last-night/

Deep Sky Objects

Typically the most submissions have been in this section and by heck have there been some good uns:

Graham finished his wonderful Heart Nebula mosaic in Ha here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/6055-its-finished-heart-neb-mosaic/ well done a really great piece of work and showing lots of dedication as DSO mosaics arent easy.

I really like the wide M31 submitted by foundaplanet here, the extra subs and processing have made for a really nice image http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/6063-9-more-subs-on-m31/

Ron Clarke was busy at Kelling and his Pacman (IC281) nebula shows good detail http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/6047-pacman-nebula-from-kelling-ic281/

Cgolder was also at Kelling shooting away and his Heart nebula here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/6043-a-few-images-from-kelling/ shows lovely colour and depth.

I love the colour in fwm891 California Nebula here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/6079-ngc1499-california-nebula-in-hargb/ the dark dust silhouetted against the nebula has come out really well. and his M33 here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/6197-m33-in-triangulum-rgb/ is a cracker.

You can see why NGC2175 is called the Monkeyhead nebula in Ibbos image here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/6082-ngc2175-monkeyhead-nebula/ great shot

Theres been a few targeting the Wizard Nebula this month, Yoddha http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/6080-narrowband-wizard/, Kheldar here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/6136-quick-wiz/ and Glider here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/6157-ngc7380-the-wizard-with-some-oiii/ great work guys.

I finally managed the shot of M33 I was after at Kelling http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/6054-m33-up-close-and-personal-kelling-sunday-night/

Russel gave us the Western Veil from Kelling http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/6101-western-veil/

Despite the avante garde colours I do like Ibbos narrowband M27  here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/6094-m27-nb/, shows great colour.

Even though this is a quick process Sheilas NGC7000, the NA Nebula shows superb detail and depth here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/6145-ngc7000-quick-process/ I really like the detail in the wall, folks often overdo the processing here and this is nice and subtle

I do like fwm891s Stephens Quintet here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/6151-ngc7331-and-stephans-quintet-a-reprocess/ there is loads going on in there

andyboy1970 submitted a very nice M1 Crab nebula here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/6191-m1-and-the-bubble-nebula/ I do like the colour of the nebula and stars in this, nicely processed.

Just to be different Sheila submitted a good Ha picture of The Flying Horse Nebula here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/6193-ic7380-flying-horse-in-ha/, I always called it the Wizard :-)

Lunar

Quite a few lunar images this month

Eddies first light with his new camera is a lovely sharp and contrasty shot here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/6106-first-light-for-asi120mc/ well done mate shows how good these little C90 scopes are.

Some nice close ups from catman161 here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/6107-moon-16102013/

Tibbz2 gave us a nice 300mm telephoto shot here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/6165-first-proper-moon/

Planetary

Jupiter is starting to come round again as spotted by oldfruit here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/6036-jupiter-610-from-badger-farm/

We dont often get images from Daz on the gallery but as a first I have to include this in the round up. He got a really detailed shot of Uranus rising here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/6046-uranus-well-no-its-not/

Welcome to the dark side Jack, here is his images from Kelling of Jupiter http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/6062-first-ever-attempt-at-jupiter/

Well done catman161 for getting a shot of Uranus here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/6146-first-attempt-at-uranus/

An early start for oldfruit payed off with a nice image of Jupiter here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/6194-jupiter-30102013/

Sketching

I have been out with the HB pencils this month on DSO and lunar trying to encourage folks to have a go and succeeded in getting tbird to have a go at a really good asterism Kembles Cascade here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/6070-kembles-cascade-ngc1502/

Solar

Graham gave us a full disc from the 24th http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/6155-solar-shot-from-today-in-ha/

And Ibbos HA full disc shows loads of activity http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/6003-ha-full-discs-29-9-2013/

Widefield

I really like gliders widefields from Kelling, especially the one with him clutching his glass of Sambuca, sums up what a great place Kelling is http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/6048-kelling-2013/

Some lovely atmospheric shots from Dardano here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/6018-startrail-timelapse-and-unexpected-car-lights/

Tibbz2 was also busy at Kelling http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/6045-a-pair-from-kelling/

What a great showing of images folks and sorry I couldnt mention everyone but with the number of images submitted this review would go on forever.

So my choice this month goes to foundaplanet for his "9 more subs on M31" here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/6063-9-more-subs-on-m31/.

The uncropped version gets my vote because of the composition, field of view. For an image at this depth it shows great detail and puts the galaxy in the context of the background stars and reminds me of the best binocular image I had of this galaxy in my old 25x100 binoculars from a dark sky site.

Well done Col a key for APT is on its way to you
