Sorry the round up is a little late, been away for a couple of days away from t'internet.

The weather has been a little hit and miss this month but you folks have been out there imaging, well done.

Just a couple of points, there are a few broken image links this month so unfortunately I cannot open them, thus if I cant open them I cannot judge or mention them I'm afraid.

Also could folks remember to put details of the image on the post please, scope, camera, exposure, subs etc etc, Ta Very Much

Comets, Asteroids, Meteors & Meteorites

Deep Sky Objects

I like Ron Clarkes M97 and M108 despite the skyglow from Mr Blobby theres alot of detail in there Ron http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/7772-m97-m108-with-a-full-moon-glow/

Xanthic has got his guiding nailed now with a nice luminence shot of M101 here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/7803-m101-work-in-progress/ good focus and nice tight stars Leigh

There's loads of stuff going on in fwm891s NGC7000 plus Pelican here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/7812-ngc7000-pelican-neb/ great colour Francis also the contrast in the central area lifts it nicely.

M13 was the target of the night at Wymeswold the other week:-

Tasking, the propeller coming through nicely http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/7871-m13-from-wymeswold/

Johnnyaardvark with a wider field here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/7877-m13-from-wymswold-advice-needed/ and here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/7881-m13-and-ngc6207-2nd-edit/

and Asytocookie, again with the propeller showing nicely http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/7879-another-m13-from-wymeswold/ and some good colour.

I like Alan the Plumbers M81 and M82 widefield at this depth its showing alot of detail in particular NGC3077 showing really well http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/7880-m81m82-from-wymeswold-and-beeston/

Tons of detail in Red Dwarfs M101 http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/7884-m101-luminance/

Tibbz2 gave us an M81 and M82 here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/7895-m81/

Tbird gave was up to his usual unusual aspect shots with a setting moon sequence here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/7776-moon-set/

Planetary

Mars featured heavily this month for obvious reasons:

catman161 gave us several views so Ive linked to his 150414 image here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/7785-best-mars-yet-15042014/, superb image Felix well done

Just for a change from Mars we have a Jupiter from a new member nickarp2000 here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/7858-my-1st-rgb/

Sketching

I was the only one brave enough to submit a sketch this month, come on folks get the HBs sharpened.

Solar

Ibbo gave us a superb full disc image from SGL here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/7718-sun-from-sgl/ plus several others but Ive been raving to my muggle wife about this one http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/7791-ar-ha-sol-15-4/ thats a stunner Steve.

ben72 gave us a full disc here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/7753-sun-full-disc-13414/

Graham gave us a nice full disc here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/forum/28-solar/

Widefield

tbird gave us a stonking image of the ISS and manually tracked at that, my hats off to you Paul http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/7749-iss-12-04-2014/ and he's also given us more close ups here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/7778-more-iss-15-04-2014/

I do like the shot of Belper meet in the morning by Johnnyaardvark http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/7766-early-morning-stragglers/ very atmospheric

The ISS was simons subject for a super sharp close up here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/7823-iss-april-16th-2014/

A good animation from fwm891 here http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/7856-skytracker-test-leo-tree/ gives a good example of just how fast things are moving up there.

Gosh, there has been some cracking images this month folks and sorry to all those I haven't mentioned but there has been loads submitted despite the English weather. This month has given me 4 images that made me say WOW so its not been an easy one but after careful deliberation I think the one image takes the PoTM title this month has got to be .......

Ibbos detail of sunspot group in Ha, http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/7791-ar-ha-sol-15-4/ all I can say is WOW and well done and a key for APTis on its way.
