Gosh that went quick seemed like only last week I was doing August round up :-)

Not as many clear skies this month compared to august but folks have still been getting out there taking photos and you folks aren't making my life easy when it comes to judging because of the quality and variety of images that are being submitted, they are superb, congrats to everyone.

So with no more ado here's my roundup for September 2013

Well folks, thanks for all the fantastic images and as I said earlier its not been easy for me this month due to the quality of the images posted.  Its been a very close things and if I could do joint first then it would go to Sheila and KHeldars supeb project on IC1396 and Gliders lovely Wizard Nebula. Both submissions show tons of work, time, dedication and attention to detail and I realise both are WIP (yep I know what that means now :-)) and both show tons of detail only most of us can only dream of attaining. but as I can only award PoTM to one and thats Sheila and Stephens IC1396 because of the size, quality, time and effort put into it and its fascinating to wander through the high re version.

http://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/5977-wip-ic1396-ha-complete-stephensheila-joint-project/

So congrats to both and a key for APT is on its way to you.

As I mentioned last month, I have had to post the September results up a day early because I will be away from  internet access on the 30th of September. Therefore any images posted on the 30th will be included in the October round up.

Thanks again and keep em coming

A nice round up Phil, and I agree there have been some superb images submitted. I don't envy your task judging them.

Congrats to Sheila and Stephen, a stunning effort.

Congratulations and thanks to everyone who submitted their hard work, it's great to see it all.

Yes well done. Great image. Very well deserved. And well done to everyone else for submitting such cracking images, it is amazing what a small group of amateurs can generate. I'm mortified my out of focus green blob of Uranus got mentioned! I will try harder next time.

And thanks as always to Phil for summarising the submissions, it is so wonderful to be able to flick through the months images so easily.
